Agency: Space Between
The agency approached me to help them with a competition which they had been running for their client, Mitsubishi Motors. Over the last five years, Mitsubishi Motors have been in partnership with England Rugby and Scottish Rugby. A competition had been held for young supporters to create designs that would appear on two Mitsubishi vehicles. These vehicles would lead both respective teams out before their match. England and Scotland were due to play against each other at Twickenham Stadium, but unfortunately occurred behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I needed to completely recreate the winning designs faithfully from scratch so that the final artwork would be made at a suitable size for a vehicle vinyl wrap. One of these was submitted in colouring pencil and the other had been made using Microsoft Paint, both no larger than a sheet of A4. To start I had to create some digital brushes to replicate textures, drawing styles etc. Using Photoshop with an iPad Pro and Apple pencil, I was able to produce the artwork to the printers specs.
